How to Mobile Deposit a Check

Making a mobile deposit is quick and easy. Follow these steps to choose your account, capture your check, and submit it securely through the app.

Log In to the Mobile App

Open the Paducah Bank mobile app and sign in to your account to get started.

Open the Deposit Menu

Tap Menu, then select Pay, Tap, & Receive, and choose Deposit Checks.

Choose Your Account

Tap Choose Account and select the account where you want your deposit to be added.

Take Photos of Your Check

Follow the prompts to take clear photos of the front and back of your endorsed check, then review and submit your deposit.

How to Endorse a Check for Mobile Deposit

Before depositing your check with the Paducah Bank Mobile App, sign the back and write:

"For Mobile Deposit Only at Paducah Bank"

Use black ink and make sure your endorsement is written clearly in the endorsement area on the back of the check.

To receive same-day processing, submit your Mobile Deposit Monday through Friday before 5:00 p.m. Deposits submitted after 5:00 p.m., on weekends, or on bank holidays will be processed on the next business day.

No. Once a Mobile Deposit has been submitted through the Paducah Bank Mobile App, it cannot be canceled.

Before submitting your deposit, please verify that the check amount is correct, the check is properly endorsed, and the images of the front and back of the check are clear. If you believe you submitted a deposit in error, please contact Paducah Bank as soon as possible for assistance.

If your Mobile Deposit is rejected, you'll receive an email explaining the reason for the rejection.

After reviewing the email, you can call (270) 575-5700 and a Paducah Bank team member will connect with our Deposit Services team.

Common Types of Checks You Can Deposit

Most of these checks are eligible for Mobile Deposit:

  • Personal checks
  • Business checks
  • Payroll checks (paychecks)
  • Cashier's checks
  • Certified checks
  • Government checks (including tax refunds and Social Security)
  • Insurance claim checks
  • Refund checks
  • Cash rebate checks
  • Bank-issued checks

Checks That May Not Be Eligible

Some checks cannot be deposited through Mobile Deposit, including:

  • Checks marked "Mobile Deposit Prohibited" or similar restrictive language
  • Certain money orders with mobile deposit restrictions
  • Checks that have already been deposited
  • Altered or fraudulent checks
  • Checks that are damaged or difficult to read
  • Checks that are not properly endorsed

Mobile Deposit is available for all eligible Paducah Bank checking and savings accounts that are in good standing.

Accounts that are dormant are not eligible to use Mobile Deposit.

Yes. Mobile Deposit limits are based on your account's eligibility level:

  • Bronze: Up to $5,000
  • Silver: Up to $10,000
  • Gold: No deposit limit

If you need to deposit a check that exceeds your current Mobile Deposit limit, call (270) 575-5700. In many cases, we can review your account and increase your limit to accommodate your deposit.

After your Mobile Deposit has been accepted, keep the original check in a safe place for 60 days.

Once the 60-day period has passed and you've confirmed the deposit has been successfully credited to your account, you should securely destroy the check by shredding it to help protect your personal information.
