SCENES FROM A FALL DAY WHEN PADUCAH BANK VOLUNTEERS HAD A BRUSH WITH VOLUNTEERISM
For more than 70 years, United Way has proudly served Paducah and McCracken County by providing critical funding to many human service agencies that implement a variety of programs to help people in unique ways. United Way has worked under a model that brings efficiency to fund raising and confidence to the donors that their contributions are helping many people in many ways.
This fall, one of the ways the United Way made an impact on the community was to create Project United. This effort placed volunteers (like all of us at Paducah Bank!) around our hometown to do hands-on work in a variety of neighborhoods.
The Paducah Bank team united to paint a home for an elderly Paducah resident. Boasting the largest group of volunteers on this beautiful spring day, the Paducah Bank paint crew was able to accomplish a project that would have taken days for a single individual to finish. That’s what happens when we’re all united!
