Paducah Proud!

United-WayPaducah Bank and Bank Owners Contribute More Than $40,000 to Local United Way Campaign

For the seventh straight year, 100% of Paducah Bank employees participated in the local United Way campaign by giving either a leader ship contribution, a fair share contribution, a payroll deduction, or a one-time gift!

Ninety-six of the bank’s 110 employees gave on the leadership level or a fair share contribution!

The total employee gift equaled $28,897.86, a 14.8% increase over 2002’s contributions!

The bank will match 50 cents on the dollar, so the total company gift will be $43,346.79! The charitable results were announced at the United Way kick-off of the annual fundraising campaign at Dolly McNutt Plaza.

A huge thank you and congratulations go to each employee for recognizing the need and being willing to be part of the solution!

“I am so fortunate to be a part of the most generous group of people I’ve ever known,” said Maurie McGarvey, United Way campaign chairman. “The employees of Paducah Bank understand how critical it is to contribute both time and money toward efforts to sustain the people of our community. Supporting United Way is just one of the many ways Paducah Bank employees demonstrate their commitment to Paducah. Their care and concern is unwavering and unequalled.”
