Paul Markwell has joined Paducah Bank as the senior credit underwriter and portfolio manager for metro markets.
 
The Louisville native is a graduate of Atherton High School. He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Louisville. The 36-year banking veteran has extensive experience in commercial lending, including 24 years of underwriting credit.  Markwell has in-depth commercial credit expertise including credit underwriting, analysis and loan review.
 
He teaches economics and finance to high schools through Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana.  Markwell is a board member of Farm Gate Homeowners Association and state junior bible quiz coordinator/Fine Arts Festival judge for the Kentucky Ministry Network.  He also serves in a variety of leadership positions for Trinity Chapel Assembly of God.
