Paducah Bank President Mardie Herndon presented a $2200 check to Baptist Health Paducah President/CEO Chris Roty on January 11, in the Paducah Bank Main Office. The check represents donations from Paducah Bank customers and staff who placed ornaments on bank lobby Christmas trees during December. For a minimum donation of $5, ornaments were customized with the name of a loved one who had battled cancer. The proceeds will be used by Baptist Health Foundation Paducah for their cancer fund which supports cancer patients and their families.
“We began this holiday project in 2014, and it was such a great success that we continued it,” said Paducah Bank President Mardie Herndon. “I never cease to be impressed by the generosity of our staff and customers! Thanks to their support of the work that Baptist Health Paducah is doing to comfort and heal those in our community dealing with cancer, we were able to double our previous year’s donation!”
“We are grateful to partner with our friends at Paducah Bank for this project each year and humbled by the support received for our cancer services,” said Baptist Health Paducah President, Chris Roty. “We are blessed to serve such a giving and generous community.”
