Paducah Bank presented a $12,000 check to Market House Theatre as a Platinum Season Sponsor for the theatre’s 56th season.

Paducah Bank is a regular supporter of Market House Theatre, and presented a $75,000 check as part of the theater’s Next Stage campaign to revitalize and transform 10 downtown buildings into a 44,000-square-foot performing arts campus.

“Market House Theatre has been a vital part of the creative life of Paducah for more than 50 years,” said Paducah Bank CEO Joe Framptom. “Paducah Bank is a proud supporter of Market House Theatre and its efforts to enrich our community and educate our children. We believe the Next Stage expansion will ensure exceptional performing arts benefits for the future of Paducah and the entire region.”

“The donation from Paducah Bank to support MHT’s Signature and Family Series seasons does far more than just sponsoring productions,” says MHT Executive Director Michael Cochran.  “It is a vital part of the theatre’s overall impact of developing local talent, which connects people not only to our shows, but to our educational programming as well.”

“Paducah Bank’s longtime support has helped MHT achieve national recognition for education/outreach programming and historic preservation.  Market House Theatre and its audiences have an economic impact supporting over 50-full time jobs in our community, continuing the work of Paducah Bank to create a vibrant and creative community,” said Cochran.

Market House Theatre today has an active presence in three states, 12 counties and 43 schools with more than 1,700 classes and workshops. The organization averages 2,000 visits a week from volunteers, parents, children and audience members.
