Paducah Bank is once again partnering with Baptist Health Foundation Paducah this holiday season to help fund the Foundation’s provision of services and support to cancer patients.
Ornaments can be customized and added to a Christmas tree in honor or in memory of a loved one for a minimum donation of $5. The trees will be on display in the Lone Oak, Strawberry Hill, Mid-City, Reidland, and Main Office lobbies during December.

“We were thrilled with the amount of participation we had last year,” said Mardie Herndon, Paducah Bank president. “Thanks to all of our generous customers, we have able to provide a donation over $4000 to Baptist Health Foundation Paducah. That money goes directly toward support services for cancer patients in our community. Each of us, no doubt, has been touched by this frightening disease in some way either through friends or family. This year, we hope to raise $2,000 for the Foundation. We will need everyone’s help to accomplish this goal. This is such an easy way to spread a little Christmas cheer while doing something enormously valuable to cancer patients all around our region.”
Baptist Health Foundation Paducah was established eight years ago to advance the hospital’s Christ centered mission of providing care and improving health in our communities. “Our hospital was built through the spirit of giving, and this project allows us to once again partner with our community for the health of our friends and neighbors,” said Chris Roty, president of Baptist Health Paducah. “Paducah Bank shares our same commitment to making a difference for those we are called to serve, which is why we value this opportunity to partner with them for this project each year. We are grateful for all donations provided to our foundation, as they help our team of physicians, staff and caregivers to continue providing high quality care for our patients. ”
