Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. Elects Conner Framptom as New Director

Conner Framptom has been elected to the Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. Board of Directors. Paducah Bank Shares is the holding company for The Paducah Bank and Trust Company. Framptom was previously elected to the Paducah Bank Board of Directors in 2014.

“The Directors of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc., parent company of Paducah Bank, are extremely pleased to have Conner Framptom join the Board of Directors,” said Bank Board Chairman and CEO Joe Framptom. “Conner was born and raised in Paducah, pursued a banking career outside of Paducah, then returned to Paducah Bank nearly six years ago. He is committed to the future of the Bank and will add expertise from his years of working inside other banks along with his lifelong knowledge of our community. Conner will be the youngest member of the Board and will bring a unique perspective gained through his education and experiences both inside and outside the world of banking and investments.”

Framptom has 13 years of experience in a variety of roles within the banking industry.  His banking career started at The Paducah Bank and Trust Company as a summer teller before entering Paducah Bank’s Management Trainee program in January 2003.  After a brief hiatus to pursue a Master’s Degree, Framptom moved to Nashville in 2006 and began work as a Commercial Portfolio Manager in First Bank’s Commercial and Industrial Lending Department. In this role, he gained valuable experience in commercial loan underwriting and relationship management.  In August 2010, Framptom returned to Paducah Bank and began work as a Financial Analyst in the Accounting Department. He was responsible for running the Bank’s Asset Liability Management model on a monthly basis and various aspects of financial reporting.  In August 2013, Framptom moved to Paducah Bank’s Trust Department where he now serves as Trust Portfolio Manager.  His primary role includes investment selection and client investment reviews.

Framptom earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Hampden-Sydney College in 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Murray State University in 2006.  In addition, he is a 2013 Graduate with Distinction of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  Other notable accomplishments and experiences include:  Eagle Scout 1995; one year of AmeriCorps service with the Montana Conservation Corps in 2002; Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instructor Pilot ratings in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010; and 2013 Alumnus of Leadership Paducah. Conner is married to Carly McNeill Framptom. They reside in Paducah, KY, and are members of First Presbyterian Church.  Conner and Carly recently welcomed their first son, George, in 2015.
