In 2013, the United Way introduced a new award entitled the LIVE UNITED Corporate Partnership Award. “This award is given to a company that has created a legacy of support for the United Way within their organization,” said Monique Zuber, Executive Director of United Way of Paducah-McCracken County. “This award was designed to honor a company that has gone above and beyond just running a workplace campaign, but has created a culture of giving back. This year Paducah Bank celebrated 20 years of 100% employee participation in their workplace campaign. The bank embodies what it means to Live United.”
“We consider it a very unique honor to receive this LIVE UNITED award,” said Paducah Bank President Mardie Herndon. “This recognition is a testament not just to our bank, but to every individual who makes a conscious choice to support the United Way campaign each and every year. We honor the work of the United Way in our community. It touches every corner of our city and county and supports every facet of life from childhood to seniors. We are proud partners and we are most grateful for this acknowledgement of our association with this vital organization.”
Paducah Bank staff members have contributed more than $250,000 through the bank’s employee giving campaign during the past ten years.
