Paducah Bank will be a proud participant in the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on September 20 at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah. The event has been organized to celebrate and honor the men and women who serve in many capacities within law enforcement agencies in the community and the region. The Paducah Police Department, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, and the Kentucky State Police will all be honored.
The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature a host of entertainment, refreshments, and opportunities for the community to personally thank the members of these varied law enforcement groups for the many vital services they perform on behalf of the citizens of Paducah and the surrounding region.
“It is a privilege to be a part of this event,” said Mardie Herndon, President of Paducah Bank. “Every day of the year, these men and women are at work protecting and supporting the people of our community. And how often do we earnestly consider their contributions to the safety and well-being of each of us individually and of our city and county as a whole? This will be an ideal time to show this team of law enforcement professionals how much we, as a community, value them professionally and personally.”
“All of us as prosecutors, former prosecutors, and citizens owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of our law enforcement agencies,” said Mark Bryant of the Bryant Law Center and one of the event organizers. “Without them, our way of life would be uncontrolled and dangerous. This is just one small attempt to lift up the dedication and highly valued service these men and women provide to each of us on a daily basis.”
Schools, civic organizations, elected officials, and local businesses are all making contributions to Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
