Paducah Bank is teaming up with the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County to be sure every student has the tools needed to succeed this year!
Celebrating its 12th year, the Stuff the Bus school supply drive has shoppers at both Paducah Walmart locations and Sam's Club literally loading a yellow school bus with donations. This year's event is Saturday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
United Way volunteers will pass out shopping lists with needed school supplies to people at Sam’s Club on James Sanders Boulevard and Walmart at both the Hinkleville Road and Irvin Cobb Drive locations. Shoppers can purchase supplies and drop them off on their way out of stores.
"The need is even greater this year," said Paducah Bank Marketing Director Susan Guess. "Our kids have experienced a lot of change and stress these past few months. We want them to know they don't have to worry about school supplies. If you are able to give, we hope you will."
Cash donations are also accepted on-site during the event https://unitedwaypaducah.harnessapp.com/wv2/campaign/4174.
