If you’ve ever lost your debit card, you know how scary it can be. Luckily, Paducah Bank has a tool that will help eliminate the hassle and panic of that situation. Paducah Bank customers have the ability to turn their debit cards off and on via their mobile app or Internet Banking. This is a great tool to use if your card is lost or stolen. It allows you to calmly search for your card without the fear that someone is draining your bank account. It’s as easy as clicking a button and your card is instantly deactivated until you decide to turn it back on.  Our personal bankers can see your card’s status and turn it off and on just as easily, in case you forgot that you turned your card off. Your pre-authorized automatic payments through your debit card will still process as normal even if the card is turned off.

You will need to download the latest mobile app update to use this tool on your mobile device. On Internet Banking, you will now see a link in the top right corner called “Card Management” that will allow you to manage the off/on feature for all of your debit cards. As always, if you have any questions or need help using this new feature, please give us a call at 270.575.5700. We are happy to help!
