Career Opportunity: Consumer and Residential Mortgage Relationship Manager


General Summary/Purpose

The purpose of this position is to assist new and existing customers with their personal borrowing needs and develop new relationship opportunities for the Bank.  The CRMRM is expected to provide outstanding customer service to our clients by offering solutions to match customer needs.  They should all serve as product knowledge experts for both loan and deposit products.  They are responsible for fostering an environment that develops and cultivates meaningful and lifelong relationships. Day-to-day activities include solicitation of new business, specifically consumer loans, deposits, residential mortgages and construction requests, gathering and analyzing financial information, and managing existing loan portfolios.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Loan Origination and Customer Service: The CRMRM will call on potential and existing customers to develop new consumer and mortgage loan business for Paducah Bank.  The CRMRM will be expected to develop and maintain referral relationships with Centers of Influence such as attorneys, CPAs, realtors, and builders.   The CRMRM shall provide excellent loan origination experiences for consumer, residential, owner-occupied and investment property clients.  The CRMRM shall analyze customer financial and credit data, determine purchase objectives, structure appropriate loan products, and gather any additional information necessary to begin processing the loan.  The CRMRM will work closely with the Mortgage Origination Team, Loan Sales Support and Loan Servicing Support Teams, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of required information to promptly process, underwrite and close loans. Consumer loans that CRMRM may originate include but are not limited to Home Equity Loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Personal Loans, and vehicle loans.  Mortgage loans that the CRMRM may originate include conventional, construction, USDA, VA, FHA, and in-house specialty loans.
  2. Comprehensive Services Business Development:  The CRMRM shall continually recognize and develop opportunities to cross-sell Paducah Bank services.  The CRMRM must maintain current knowledge of loan and deposit products in order to identify potential candidates and to refer sales opportunities to Commercial Relationship Managers, Wealth Management, Paducah Financial Consultants, Treasury Management, and other outside lines of business. 
  3. Miscellaneous Duties and Portfolio Management:  Work monthly maturity reports, support and offer assistance to the Collections Manager on loan delinquencies, monitor and clear collateral exceptions, monitor construction draws, perform inspections and various other lending related tasks as needed.  
  4. Community Involvement:  The CRMRM will be a brand ambassador for Paducah Bank and will represent the Bank through active involvement in community affairs and participate in marketing all the Bank’s comprehensive services and products.  The CRMRM will be encouraged to join civic organizations, and not-for-profit boards, and attend community functions such as Chamber of Commerce events.
