Build It and The DIY Network Will Come!

Paducah native Blair Wrye is helping draw national attention to Paducah!

When he’s not serving the city of Paducah as a patrolman with the Paducah Police Department, you can find him in his woodshop creating custom furniture and home décor for his business, Blair Wrye Designs. Through his woodworking craftsmanship and the power of social media, Blair garnered the attention of DIY Network’s “Barnwood Builders” television show soon after starting his business. An episode featuring Blair and his unique barnwood creations aired on DIY Network’s “Barnwood Builders” on November 6.

After the experience of being filmed and featured on a national television show, Blair knew he wanted his business to keep growing and moving forward, so he came to Paducah Bank to get assistance with his business finances.

“The service at Paducah Bank is unparalleled. To know that you have people working with you and supporting you in your business endeavors is so valuable,” Blair said.  “As a small business owner, I know the value and meaning of shopping locally, so I am happy to bank locally as well.”

At Blair Wrye Designs, you’ll find Blair creating farm tables, coffee tables, media stands, and buffet tables and happily servicing any custom furniture order that someone may have. Along with furniture, Blair also specializes in home décor items such as cutting boards, coasters, candlesticks, wooden spoons and bowls and much more.  Specializing in reclaimed wood creations, Blair values making the old new again.

Blair is married to Elena Wrye, a Personal Banker at Paducah Bank!
