“We believe the future holds a great deal of promise in the hands of the next generation,” says Mardie Herndon, president of Paducah Bank. “So, we want to give them the opportunity to think about what they would do if given the chance to make the world a better place. What ideas would they bring to being change-agents for their community and for all those who share this world with us?”
In order for local high school students to think about that challenge, Paducah Bank has created the “Be The Change” competition. The challenge is to create a one-minute video “trailer” that would promote the student’s idea of what he/she could do or what the global community could do together to affect change for the better.
Video submissions can be uploaded through the Paducah Bank Facebook page or by clicking here. The deadline for submissions has been EXTENDED to March 13, 2015 due to inclement weather and school closings. The winning entry will receive a $500 cash award. Questions about the competition can be sent to Susan Guess at email@example.com.
Paducah Bank is Paducah’s only locally-owned bank. Paducah Bank has 6 locations, 7 ATMs throughout the community, and employs 150 people.
Paducah Bank is currently the top small business lender and the top mortgage lender in Paducah/McCracken County.
