At each of Paducah Bank’s locations, ornaments can be customized and added to a Christmas tree in honor or in memory of a loved one for a minimum donation of $10. The trees will be on display in the bank lobbies during December.
“Of course, we’re happy for the generous people in our community to donate more than $10,” said Mardie Herndon, Paducah Bank president. “Every dollar that is contributed to this most worthy cause this holiday will go toward support services for cancer patients in our community. Each of us, no doubt, has been touched by this frightening disease in some way either through friends or family. This is such an easy way to spread a little Christmas cheer while doing something enormously valuable to cancer patients all around our region.”
The Baptist Health Foundation Paducah was established five years ago and to date has raised more than $3.3 million to support patients and families. “These donations have allowed us to purchase neonatal equipment for our tiniest patients, enhance our cardiac rehabilitation center, expand our surgical waiting areas, and provide educational and support services for our cancer and stroke patients,” said Bill Brown, president of Baptist Health Paducah. “This holiday partnership with Paducah Bank is one more way in which we can all join together as corporate citizens and work to provide much-needed health services to people in our community. We greatly value Paducah Bank’s commitment to our community and to this project of charitable service to Baptist Health cancer patients.”
Paducah Bank has banking centers at 555 Jefferson, 2401 Broadway, 4452 Reidland Road, 2635 Lone Oak Road, 4575 Pecan Drive, and 3445 Paducah Bank Drive.
