Conner Framptom has been elected to The Paducah Bank and Trust Company Board of Directors.
“The Directors of Paducah Bank are extremely pleased to have Conner Framptom join our Board of Directors,” said Bank Board Chairman and CEO Joe Framptom. “Conner was born and raised in Paducah, pursued a banking career outside of Paducah, then returned to Paducah Bank nearly four years ago. He is committed to the future of Paducah Bank as a locally-owned financial institution and will add expertise from his years of working inside banks along with his lifelong awareness of our community. Conner will be the youngest member of our Bank Board and will bring a unique perspective gained through his education and experiences.”
Conner has nine years of experience in a variety of roles within the banking industry. His banking career started at The Paducah Bank and Trust Company as a summer Teller, and then he entered Paducah Bank’s Management Trainee program in January 2003. After a brief hiatus to pursue a Master’s Degree, Conner moved to Nashville in 2006 and began work as a Commercial Portfolio Manager in First Bank’s Commercial and Industrial Lending Department. In this role, he gained valuable experience in commercial loan underwriting and relationship management. In August 2010, Conner returned to Paducah Bank and began work as a Financial Analyst in the Accounting Department. He was responsible for running the Bank’s Asset Liability Management model on a monthly basis and various aspects of financial reporting. In August 2013, Conner moved to Paducah Bank’s Trust Department where he now serves as Trust Portfolio Manager. His primary role includes investment selection and client investment reviews.
Conner earned an undergraduate degree in History from Hampden-Sydney College in 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Murray State University in 2006. In addition, he is a 2013 graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Other notable accomplishments and experiences include: Eagle Scout 1995; one year of AmeriCorps service with the Montana Conservation Corps in 2002; Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instructor Pilot ratings in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010; and 2013 Alumnus of Leadership Paducah.
Currently, Conner serves on the Board of Greater Paducah Sustainability Project of Paducah, a local recycling operation. Conner is married to his wife Carly, and they reside in Paducah, KY. They are members of First Presbyterian Church.
