Chad Lamb, a Paducah Bank Vice President and Loan Officer has been named Chair of the Paducah SCORE Chapter. In this position, Lamb will coordinate community outreach, recruiting, and the chapter’s small business counseling and workshop programs. Paducah Bank is the only local bank recognized as a SCORE consultant in the region.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get underway and grow through education and mentorship.
“Lamb’s selection as chapter chair will have a very positive impact on Paducah SCORE,” said Kenneth Yancey, SCORE CEO. “He will ensure the superior level of service that the Paducah SCORE Business Counseling Center offers to small businesses within this market.”
Lamb is a graduate of Murray State University and has extensive management experience and diversified industry expertise. In the coming months, Lamb will be staffing chapter leadership positions, committee chairs, and building a membership base of qualified business counselors.
“Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to a network of more than 11,000 volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at a very low cost,” Lamb commented.
SCORE provides volunteer mentors who share their expertise across 62 industries. These mentors provide free confidential business counseling, free business tools and tips, and inexpensive workshops and webinars.
